Harûah: Breath of Heaven (ISSN 1932-7609) - A Magazine of Inspiration is a web and print magazine, featuring fiction of all kinds, poetry, and non-fiction. "Harûah" is Hebrew for "The Spirit," and within our pages we hope to draw you closer to the Creator who breathed life into us all.
Harûah seeks to publish works that show the wonder and awesome power of a living, loving God who is active and intimately involved in humanity. It is ecumenical in nature, and though grounded in Christian principles and traditional values, it does not set out to promote the practices or beliefs of any particular denomination. Within the pages of Harûah, readers will find, besides the occasional work with specific Christian content, many works that honor the values and tenants of a wide variety of faith traditions.
Fiction, poetry, and stories of life are the heart of Harûah, but other types of features are also included. But in all cases, readers can be sure that everything included will be wholesome and inoffensive. Readers of all ages can enjoy the literary works of Harûah.

Fear and Trembling (ISSN Pending) showcases horror and dark fiction at their best. We’re not interested in stories that rely on the tired old tricks of shock value, gore, and profanity. We’re also not looking for the same old plot constructs we’ve all seen a million times. We want atmosphere. We want hair-raising conflict. We want to get to know charactersreal, multi-dimensional people we are able to care aboutwho just happen to be facing horrifying realities. We want to face those realities with them, to hang on through the twists and frights of the plot and to root for them all the way.
While stories in F&T may be frightening and may include harrowing scenes, they will not offend traditional Christian values. What will be found are stories with engaging characters, interesting situations, emotional relationships, and satisfying resolutions.

MindFlights
Speculative Fiction and Poetry
|
MindFlights (ISSN Pending) is the product of the merger of The Sword Review and Dragons, Knights, & Angles.
All flights have a destination. Mindflights' journeys are speculative, and our ultimate destination is truth.
Mindflights believes some truths are universal. Some truths are there for all persons to find through observation and pondering, with inquiry or with introspection, with stillness or with debate. Other truths must be sought, hunted, and they are more difficult to capture. Both can inspire stories and poems.
These are the kinds of stories found in this speculative fiction and poetry magazine.

Ray Gun Revival (ISSN 1936-8917) - The modern world has lost its sense of adventure. In an world that is ever more regulated, legislated, and moderated, people need an outlet from recurring payments, cubicle farms, and restrictions of every kind.
However, the modern world hasn’t lost its capacity for adventure, and it is here that the classic adventure tale delivers its greatest impact. We all need a little escape in ways that we only dimly recognize and can’t begin to measure.
Ray Gun Revival provides just that--a throwback publication that revisits space opera and golden age sci-fi. Our stories focus more on character development than hard science and sail all the wide-open waters between fantasy and harder sci-fi. Think of the original Star Wars stories, Doc Smith's Lensman series, the Warlord of Mars tales from Edgar Rice Burroughs. Think of everything from John Carter and Gully Foyle to Kimball Kinnison and Han Solo.
Ray Gun Revival is about dusting off the pulp adventure stories of old and giving them a fresh spin. We are bringing out the deepest elements of what has traditionally been rather superficial fiction and updating them for a new generation of fiction enthusiasts.

Double-Edged Publishing - Living Word Books
Living Word Books is the imprint for DEP's nonfiction book projects. With Living Word Books, we want to create a body of works that help people live better. Congruence with Christian principles is a must, but these books need not be inspriational, devotional, or preachy. Any book that will help a person living in the Twenty-First Century to live better, fuller, and healthier lives will be considered.
The number of projects DEP can publish depends on funding. Many people wanting to see more books published donate1 with designation to Living Word Books. You may do this using the button below, or by simply stating your intention to designate the funds to Living Word Books.

Double-Edged Publishing - Private Label Press Books
Current publishing technology makes production of limited run books possible in a way never before feasible. Capitalizing on this as a special service, DEP maintains a line of books dedicated to special groups. Our Private Label Press books are not intended as mass appeal books. Instead, they are written to satisfy the needs of particular groups, large or small. Private Label Press books might include family histories, ethnographies, or genealogical information. Churches might use the Private Label Press project to produce training materials specific to their congregations, histories, or other materials of special interest. Niche topics targeted to particular groups also are ideal candidates for Private Label Press books.
Because Private Label Press books are rarely able to generate sales which cover the distribution costs, this project is funded through donations1 to the DEP general fund, or through gifts designated for the Private Label Press project. (To designate a gift for the Private Label Press project, indicate your intention with your donation. Use the link here to designate via PayPal.)

Hebrews 4:12 New International Version (NIV)
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
