Valerie Frankel Valerie Frankel is currently the youngest person ever to receive a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing degree from San Jose State University.  Her many short stories appeared in the anthologies Legends of the Pendragon, In the Outposts of Beyond, The Kings of the Night, and three best of the year anthologies.  Her work has also been published in Rosebud Magazine, The Oklahoma Review,  and sixty other magazines.
