Chris MillerIn the 80's I sold so many computer geek articles to a popular C-64 enthusiast's magazine called Transactor that it was offered to me when its senior editor quit. Then, for twenty years I constrained my literary efforts to writing op-ed articles and working as a technical writer (which is a marvelous exercise in clarity and making the eye-gougingly mundane almost bearable). Although, ten years ago my letter in response to a personal ad was selected above fifty others, and I am still living with the contest administrator. Two years ago I began creative writing again. I experiment with many genres, forms and styles. Since my hiatus, my first sale has been to UK's Cosmos—"The Science of Everything" Magazine, who bought a sci-fi piece of mine for its only long (4000 word) slot for 2006, scheduled for print in their special Dec./Jan. issue. |
